Meno Parkas Gallery (Rotušės sq. 27, 44279 Kaunas, Lithuania)

In this exhibition, Lithuanian artist Dalia Truskaitė presents her latest work, a glass installation created especially for the gallery’s space, reflecting the transience of the moment. “Shimmering reflection in glass. The passing world, briefly reflected in us passing off. Leaving empty glass waiting for someone else's next moment to flash through them again. A moment between two nothingness.”

Dalia Truskaitė is a midgeneration contemporary artist, mostly working with glass.

She completed stained glass studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, and created stained glass and architectural glass compositions in public and private spaces. In the last decade, she has been working mainly in the field of contemporary art. Creates conceptual, minimalist in expression, site-specific works of art. The artist's works can be classified as belonging to the trend of post-minimalism. In 2022, Dalia Truskaitė was awarded by the Association of Lithuanian Art Creators for the expressiveness of fragile aesthetics, philosophical suggestion, and conceptuality of glass art. And in 2021 she received an award at the international art fair "ArtVilnius'21" for the best installation.
