LOOP Art Fair. 2022

One of the most important art events in Europe - video art festival LOOP Barcelona - is taking place from November 8-20.
During the festival, more than 150 events are held in various spaces of the Barcelona city, which annually attracts about 200,000 visitors. One of the main projects of the festival is the video art fair LOOP.

This year, the international jury selected 43 galleries from 18 countries of the world, among them Lithuania is represented for the first time by the Meno Parkas Gallery. This is an important debut not only for the gallery, but also for the artist Neringa Naujokaite and her latest video "Golzheim" (2022. HD video, b/w, sound, 19:00 min. Composer Thomas Amann, Austria) which was presented for the first time this year during artist's solo exhibition "Transit Spaces" in Meno Parkas Gallery.

The video "Golzheim" presented during the fair, according to the author, aims to reflect on the socio-political and architectural changes in the northern part of German city Düsseldorf and deals with the question under which circumstances the urban cityscape is created, changes and is perceived.

LOOP FAIR takes place on November 15-17, 2022 at Almanac Barcelona (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 619, 621, 08007 Barcelona, Spain).
