On September 15-18 , gallery "Meno parkas" at the Contemporary Art Fair START in London will present works of artist Rosanda Sorakaitė.
Rosanda Sorakaitė: “It is about memories. Works of art appear from the observation of the environment, reconsidering the past. Sometimes a motive appears accidentally, sometimes I‘m watching it for a while, but in both cases it occurs like a brief flash that allows you to understand that this moment matches with an inner thought, which may be not yet tangible, but already intuited. And the picture is always only something similar to what you have intended to portray. A process of painting immerses into the time that no longer exists and you are alone, by yourself. The work – as a memory of time, unfamiliar, but perhaps more real than any day that we have seen”.
